In Canvas Zoom and Microsoft Teams are both options for synchronous meetings in your course.
Zoom is a web conferencing application that allows instructors to hold synchronous class sessions, record lectures and meet with students in real time online. Zoom meetings can also be recorded, the recordings can be downloaded to your local computer and uploaded to Panopto to share in your Canvas course (if needed).

Microsoft Teams is a web conferencing application that allows instructors to hold synchronous class sessions and meet with students in real time online.
